Isobel, known as Izzy, seems to have it all: good grades, friends and a social life. After a party, she gets into a car driven by someone who has been drinking and has an accident in which she loses half a leg. Her new life seems to deny her love, parties and friendship, but an exceptional friend helps her discover that she can still be herself and dream.
This novel was published in 1998 as no. 59 of Mondadori's Gaia Junior collection.
For young readers aged 12 and up looking for realistic stories of overcoming challenges and friendship.
