«Una vez ocurrió que un niño...» is the children's play by Damián Cañas Torregrosa, published by Editorial Everest in paperback (48 pages, in Spanish).
A theatrical recreation of the birth of Jesus: a child comes into the world in the warmth of a cow and a mule, under a great star, and the inhabitants of Bethlehem wonder what gift to offer him. The play brings together a varied cast of characters who prepare to welcome the newborn and is conceived to be performed as a living nativity scene.
From the Montaña Encantada / Teatro collection and within the Leer es Vivir project; includes notes for staging a «Belén viviente». 3rd edition, for early readers aged 3 to 7.
For families, educators and children's theater groups who want to prepare a simple Christmas performance with children aged 3 to 7.
