«Uns moments per a l'absurd» is a book of spiritual stories by Anthony de Mello, published by Editorial Claret in paperback (350 pages, in Catalan).
Posthumous work by Anthony de Mello, conceived as a continuation of «La pregària de la granota»: short stories and anecdotes from various religious traditions that, beneath their humor and absurd air, hold a spiritual teaching that cannot be captured by academic definitions or theological treatises.
It is volume 130 of the «Els Daus» collection, in its second edition, translated from English into Catalan by Eva Espasa.
For readers of spirituality and short fiction interested in meditation and in the Buddhist, Hindu and Christian traditions.
Anthony de Mello, also known as Tony de Mello, was an Indian Jesuit priest and psychotherapist. A teacher and public speaker, de Mello wrote several books on spirituality and hosted numerous spiritual retreats and conferences. He is known for his storytelling, which drew from the various mystical traditions of both East and West.
