«¡Vacaciones de campeonato!» is the children's and young adult soccer novel by Luigi Garlando, published by Montena in paperback (168 pages, in Spanish).
Tomi and the Cebolletas spend the summer in Paris invited by Gaston Champignon, who shows them the Eiffel Tower, Nôtre Dame and the Mona Lisa. But the trip is not just touristy: the team plays a mini World Cup of soccer, so the vacation becomes a pre-season training camp full of matches and adventures.
Sixth installment of the «¡Gol!» series («Jóvenes lectores» collection), translated from Italian by Santiago Jordán Sempere.
Recommended for readers ages 9 to 12, especially for those who enjoy soccer and adventure stories.
