«Vacaciones de mí mismo» is the illustrated book by Manolo García, published by Ediciones Martínez Roca in hardcover (336 pages, in Spanish).
Vacaciones de mí mismo brings together a wide selection of Manolo García's personal work: photographs taken from his first steps with the camera to his most recent travels, all the lyrics of his songs and a sample of his drawings and paintings. The volume works as a journey through his way of looking at the world, combining image and text to offer a kind of sentimental atlas of the artist, with his characteristic stamp of visual poet and everyday narrator.
The book belongs to the publisher's Cancioneros collection. Manolo García (1955) is known for his work with Los Burros and El Último de la Fila, as well as for his solo career.
Recommended for fans of Manolo García and El Último de la Fila, and for readers interested in the visual and musical work of Spanish pop artists.
