«Valdemuller» is the coming-of-age novel by Xosé A. Neira Cruz, published by Editorial Galaxia in paperback (132 pages, in Galician).
Mina, a girl who has just turned fifteen, enters the world of the ancestral knowledge of women who know, transmitted in secret over the centuries despite imposed silences. Valdemuller is also the name of a lush and enigmatic forest located in the heart of the province of Lugo. The work, first published twenty-five years ago, already then raised themes that are still being claimed today.
«Valdemuller» is volume 140 of the Coste Oeste collection. The current edition was released on April 20, 2023.
