«Ve y cuenta lo que pasó en España» is the anthology edited by Aránzazu Usandizaga about foreign women in the Spanish Civil War (Planeta, hardcover).
In 1936, women from the United Kingdom, France, the United States and other countries traveled to Spain driven by their ideals. Many were politicians, writers, journalists, nurses or poets. This anthology brings together their voices, passionate, critical or disillusioned, as a historical and literary testimony to the conflict.
The volume was published in 2000; the hardcover edition has 455 pages and the text is in Spanish.
A work for those interested in the female and foreign perspective of the Spanish Civil War and in testimonial literature.
