«Versos com todas as letras» is the children's poetry book by José Jorge Letria, published by Publicações Dom Quixote in hardcover (60 pages, in Portuguese).
A poetic work that invites children to discover the alphabet as a playground: each letter becomes a character with its own life and serves to build words, name what surrounds us, communicate and also have fun. A journey through the letters that encourages inventing new words and sharing reading between young and old.
Illustrated by Elsa Lé. Originally published in 2008 and recommended by the Plano Nacional de Leitura of Portugal for the 2nd year of schooling (guided reading).
Designed for young and old to share reading and play with the alphabet; suitable for the early school stages.
José Jorge Letria OL is a Portuguese poet, writer and musician. He is the current president of Sociedade Portuguesa de Autores.
