«Versos de Fantasía: Una letra para cada día» is the illustrated children's poetry album by Rosa María Modrego Tejada and Davide Ortu (Istarduk, hardcover).
The book brings together 27 poems, one for each letter of the alphabet: fairies and little witches, a rapping elephant, a lovestruck young ogress, Indians on their way to Chirimiri Island, dressed-up hens, pirates with barrels of horchata and a Martian mom populate these rhymes, which play with language and turn letters into illustrated adventure settings.
First edition published in May 2015; 40 pages, text in Spanish; with illustrations by Davide Ortu.
For early readers: short rhyming poems that help familiarize children with each letter and can be read aloud.
