Immerse yourself in 'Vertigo' by Joanna Walsh, a collection of stories that explore the complexity of women in various roles: mother, daughter, wife, lover, observer, narrator, and actress. Through sharp and painful prose, Walsh presents us with expert women who control their environment, but whose apparent tranquility is broken, revealing the panic that underlies everyday life. This edition from Editorial Periférica, part of the Largo Recorrido series, invites you to reflect on the fragility of existence and the multiple facets of female identity.
Joanna Walsh is a multidisciplinary writer, editor and artist. She lives in Dublin, Ireland. She is currently an MSCA postdoctoral fellow at NUI Maynooth.
