«Vida privada y pública de los Animales, II» is the illustrated satire by J. J. Grandville (Anaya Infantil y Juvenil, paperback, 360 pages, in Spanish).
Satire of the publishing world: after the success of the first animal proclamation, «El diario libre» dismisses the editors of «El monitor de los animales» and the Napoleon of foxes dictates a constitution that allows everyone to complain. Stories of blackbirds, swallows, bears, giraffes and crows follow as a mirror of human customs.
Belongs to the Tus Libros collection, number 49, in its Satíricos series. The original work was published in two volumes.
For readers aged 14 and up and for those who enjoy nineteenth-century social satire.
