«Visc en dues cases» is the children's story by Miren Agur Meabe, illustrated by Jokin Mitxelena, published by La Galera in paperback (32 pages, in Catalan).
The narrator, a nine-year-old boy, explains that his parents have separated and that he divides his time between his mother's house and his father's. Far from feeling unhappy, he says he has his own corner in both houses, that he is loved very much in both, and that, despite everything, he is happy.
It belongs to the I Què? collection, number 10; the Catalan translation is by Lurdes Serramià, from the original in Basque.
For children aged 8 and up, especially for those facing their parents' separation or wanting to understand it.

Miren Agur Meabe Plaza is a Basque poet, prose writer, author of books for children and young adults and a translator. In 2021, she was the first author to win the Spanish Ministry of Culture's National Poetry Award for a work in Basque.
