«¡Viva la CIA! ¡Viva la economía!» is the book of satirical scripts by Santiago Alba Rico, published by Virus Editorial in paperback (150 pages).
It collects scripts from «Los Electroduendes», the television series broadcast within «La bola de cristal» on TVE in the 1980s. They are fables of social and political satire, such as those starring the Bruja Avería, centered on a world ruled by selfishness, exploitation and war.
It is the second installment of the «Los Electroduendes» scripts, after «¡Viva el mal! ¡Viva el Capital!», published by Virus Editorial in 2003, in Spanish.
For nostalgics of «La bola de cristal» and readers of political satire with subversive humor.
Santiago Alba Rico is a Spanish writer and philosopher. He has lived in Tunisia for much of the 21st century. He is known for essays such as Las reglas del caos, Leer con niños or Capitalismo y nihilismo.
