«Viva Polonia» is the humorous autobiographical account by Steffen Möller, published by Scherz in paperback (368 pages, in German).
With humor and irony, Steffen Möller recounts his daily life as a German guest worker in Poland: customs, bureaucracy, language and culture clashes. The book combines travelogue with autobiography and portrays the differences between Germany and Poland, as well as the slow process of feeling at home in a foreign culture.
The work bears the subtitle «Als deutscher Gastarbeiter in Polen»; it was originally published in 2006 as «Polska da się lubić» and this German edition is from 2008.
For readers interested in Poland, life abroad and memoirs told with humor.
