«Voltant per Barcelona» is an illustrated book by Javier Mariscal, Juanito Mediavilla and others, published by Plaza & Janés in hardcover (48 pages, in Spanish).
The book shows Barcelona in comic-style illustrations: on the cover, a red convertible car advances across a cobbled square by the harbor, with buildings, palm trees and mountains in the background. Mariscal's drawings, under the banner The Cobi Troupe, portray a lively city.
The work was published in 1992; authorship also includes Pedro Hernández, Nacho Villaro, Xavi Muntada, Jaume Ferrer i Ferran, Estudio Mariscal and El Tricicle.
Aimed at children and young readers and at those interested in art and culture.
Francisco Javier Errando Mariscal, better known as Javier Mariscal, is a Spanish artist and designer whose work has spanned a wide range of mediums, ranging from painting and sculpture to interior design and landscaping.
