«Vorstadtkrokodile» is the children's novel by Max von der Grün, published by Verlagsgruppe Random House GmbH in paperback (160 pages, in German).
A group of friends, the Krokodile, meet in an abandoned brick factory. To join the gang, you have to pass a dangerous test of courage and know how to ride a bike, something Kurt cannot do.
