«We Were On a Break» is Lindsey Kelk's romantic novel, published by Harper Collins in paperback (416 pages, in English).
Liv and Adam are a couple in love who expect to end their vacation with a marriage proposal, but the proposal turns into a break. The pause gets complicated: while Liv takes refuge in her work with animals, Adam tries to make amends for his mistake, and both wonder if they really want to get back together.
The cover features a quote from Marian Keyes and presents Kelk as the author of the «I Heart» series. The first edition was published on October 6, 2016.
For readers of romantic comedy and chick lit; the Marian Keyes quote on the cover points towards an audience akin to that author's.
