«We're Going on a Bar Hunt: A Parody» is the humorous parody by Josie Lloyd and Emlyn Rees, published by Constable & Robinson in hardcover (48 pages, in English).
Parody of the children's classic We're Going on a Bear Hunt: a couple of parents, with the babysitter hired, go out to find a bar to enjoy a night off. They visit several places and, after an unexpected encounter with a «bear», run back home to their children. Gillian Johnson's illustrations recreate the spirit of the original story and add an anarchic touch.
UK edition, published on October 17, 2013.
Recommended for parents who want to laugh at the challenges of organizing a night out after having children.
