«Why Eating Bogeys Is Good for You» is Mitchell Symons's book of curiosities, published by Doubleday Childrens in hardcover (320 pages, in English).
A collection of baffling questions and their answers for young readers: why magicians say «hocus pocus», whether cream crackers contain cream, why the sea is blue, or how a hen incubates her eggs without crushing them. It also answers the title's question: mind you, eating bogeys is only good if they're your own.
Published on October 11, 2007. Subtitle on cover: «... and other crazy facts explained!».
Aimed at curious children aged 7 and up; it was selected for the «The Best Books for Boys» list.
