«Windows on the World (Finestres sobre el món)» is the novel by Frédéric Beigbeder published by Edicions La Campana in paperback (352 pages, in Catalan).
The novel asks how to imagine what no one could tell: the morning of 9/11 in the restaurant on the 107th floor of the North Tower of the World Trade Center. Beigbeder invents the final moments of the customers and staff, trapped between routine and catastrophe, and turns the attack into a reflection on life and death.
