Commemorative edition of the 35th anniversary of this fundamental work of contemporary Galician literature. The novel intertwines two distant eras: the Compostela of the late 16th century, where an inquisitor arrives to pursue forbidden books, and the France of the 1980s, where a writer in crisis seeks inspiration for his next work. Both plots converge through the mythical figure of the Griffon, a creature capable of transcending time and space.
Masterfully written by Alfredo Conde, this novel is an essential classic that stands out for its literary quality and its deep reflection on identity and freedom. This definitive edition marks the return to bookstores of one of the author's most awarded and acclaimed works, making it an essential read for lovers of high literature.
