«Xente ao lonxe (Edición restaurada)» is the novel by Eduardo Blanco Amor, published by Editorial Galaxia in paperback (356 pages, in Galician).
A choral novel set in the mythical city of Auria, where a broad mosaic of voices and stories recreates the social changes transforming Galicia between the 19th and 20th centuries. With 170 characters, an expressionist technique and a cinematic conception of narrative, the work becomes a plea in favor of the disinherited.
Volume 2 of the Biblioteca Blanco Amor. This restored edition recovers the original version that was subjected to censorship in the 1970s; the novel was originally published in 1972.
Recommended for readers of Galician narrative and literary fiction who prefer choral novels with historical and social settings.
Eduardo Modesto Blanco Amor was a Galician writer and journalist who wrote in Galician and in Spanish.
