«Xulia Minguillón» is a children's book by María Reimóndez Meilán, published by Sacauntos in paperback (40 pages, in Galician).
With the help of the little dog Tyla, the story traces the life of Xulia Minguillón, a 20th-century Galician painter who captured in her canvases the turbulent era she lived through and the landscapes of Galicia she so admired. The work champions this often-forgotten artist from Lugo, so that new readers can discover her.
Published in 2018, it is part of the collection «Mulleres bravas da nosa historia», dedicated to notable Galician women.
Aimed at a children's and young adult audience, it brings readers closer to the life and work of a Galician artist.
