Adrià grows up in the family antiques shop, fascinated by a Storioni violin bearing the mark of a crime. His father steers him toward history and languages; his mother, toward the violin. After his father dies, guilt and secrets mark his life, while the novel spans Western history and explores evil, redemption, and forgiveness.
Part of the Áncora & Delfín collection (no. 1213). Translated by Concha Cardeñoso; original Catalan: Jo Confesso.
For readers of contemporary and historical fiction seeking lengthy works of great literary depth.
