«Yo quiero ser...» is the children's story written and illustrated by Tony Ross, published by Ediciones SM in hardcover (30 pages, in Spanish).
The little princess discovers that she has grown a lot and that growing up is not easy. Not knowing what to do, she asks her mother, her father, the prime minister and the admiral; each one gives her a different answer. The story invites reflection on the importance of being oneself and allowing oneself to be guided during growth.
The book is part of the «Los piratas» collection (no. 23) and was originally published in English as «I want to be...». Recommended reading age: 5 to 6 years.
For early readers: cursive lettering and a story that works on self-esteem, autonomy and personality formation.
