«Yo también puedo escribir una jodida historia de amor» is a collection of short stories by Carlos Salem, published by Ediciones Escalera in paperback (192 pages, in Spanish).
Carlos Salem takes on the challenge of writing love stories based on his own experience, though he alters names and endings. These pages include classic-style stories, others with a roguish tone, urban fables, and touches of everyday surrealism, with the author's characteristic laid-back style.
Second expanded edition and third installment of the Trayectos collection, published in 2011. The volume adds several previously unpublished stories to the first edition.
For readers of short fiction and contemporary narrative seeking a cheeky tone and an urban perspective; also for followers of Carlos Salem's work.
Carlos Salem Sola is an Argentinian writer. He has lived in Spain since 1988, where he has worked for publications such as El Faro de Ceuta , El Telegrama or El Faro de Melilla.
