The young assistant Dave travels to California with a famous director who wants to make a film based on the novels of a famous esoteric writer turned guru. Amidst dark messages, appearances of suggestive characters, and inexplicable events, the expedition soon turns into a game with mystery, increasingly ambiguous and unsettling. Inspired by the author's meeting, along with Federico Fellini, with Carlos Castaneda, it is a novel about the conflict between dream and rationality, expectations, and the search for truth.
