Biography

Antonia Hodgson is a British historical crime writer, fantasy writer and publisher.

Antonia Hodgson was born in Derby in 1971 and earned her degree in English Literature from the University of Leeds.

Before finding success as a novelist, she spent nearly two decades in the publishing business, eventually becoming an editor-in-chief.

As an editor, she collaborated with a wide range of authors and celebrities, including Ozzy Osbourne and Nora Roberts.

Her fascination with the Georgian period, which began during her school years, drives the setting of her mystery fiction.

Her novels, including 'A Devil in the Marshalsea', vividly bring to life the atmosphere of historical London prisons.
