Jill Barnett was born and raised in idyllic Southern California, an environment that inspired her creative vision.
During her childhood, she spent many summers on her grandparents' farm in Texas, surrounded by a family with Southern roots.
Her father used to tease her, saying she was the only prune picker in a family of cotton pickers.
