Ndalu de Almeida is a writer born in Angola who uses the pen name Ondjaki. He has written poetry, children's books, short stories, novels, drama and film scripts.

Ondjaki is a versatile Angolan author who excels in poetry, fiction, drama, and screenwriting.

Born in Luanda in 1977, he captures the essence of Angola through a prolific career with over twenty published books.

His literary talent was internationally recognized when he received the prestigious José Saramago Prize in 2013 for his novel Os Transparentes.
