«Beethoven: Symphonies 4 & 5» is a DVD recording of a concert conducted by Herbert von Karajan with the Berlin Philharmonic, published in 2002.
The program combines two central works of Beethoven's symphonic repertoire: the Symphony No. 4 in B-flat major, Op. 60, luminous in character, and the Symphony No. 5 in C minor, Op. 67, with its famous opening and dramatic tension. The recording was made at the Berlin Philharmonie during 1982 and 1983.
