«Madame Claude» is the drama movie by Just Jaeckin (1977), released on DVD by Orphée Arts, in French.
The film approaches the figure of Madame Claude, the famous madam who ran an exclusive prostitution service linked to high society in 1970s Paris. Through encounters and alliances, it shows how sex becomes a tool of political influence and a bargaining chip for blackmail, until her business begins to falter.
