«The Book of Eli» is the movie directed by the Hughes brothers (2010), starring Denzel Washington and Gary Oldman, on DVD.
In a ravaged future, Eli walks alone among the ruins of the United States carrying a book that many covet: for some it holds salvation; for others, domination. His journey is a struggle to protect that text and to stay alive. The film blends action, survival and a reflection on faith.
