«Tropic Thunder» is the 2008 Ben Stiller movie, starring Ben Stiller, Jack Black and Robert Downey Jr., on DVD.
Spoiled actors shoot a war epic in the jungle; when the director abandons them, they end up trapped in a real situation that forces them to become the soldiers they were pretending to be. It is a satire of Hollywood cinema with irreverent humor and over-the-top action.
Special 2-disc DVD edition (region 2) released by Paramount, with English and Spanish audio, subtitles in several languages and a running time of 116 minutes.
For ages 18 and over according to the official rating, due to its satirical humor and parodic violence.
