«Actrius» (Actresses) is the original soundtrack composed by Carles Cases for the film of the same name, released in 1996 by Picap S.L. on CD.
Composed for Ventura Pons's feature film, Carles Cases's score combines jazz with stage music and envelops the stories of the three lead actresses. It alternates free jazz passages with more sober, restrained fragments, creating a dramatic atmosphere that reinforces the film's intensity.
Spanish single-disc edition; associated styles: score and free jazz, within the jazz and stage & screen genres.
For fans of Spanish cinema soundtracks and Carles Cases's music.
