«American Standard» is the debut album by alternative rock band Seven Mary Three, released in 1995 on Atlantic, on CD.
The group plays alternative rock with a grunge sound and introspective lyrics about angst and disillusionment. It includes songs like «Cumbersome» and «Water's Edge», as well as «My, My»; it's a record from the mid-nineties rock scene with echoes of Stone Temple Pilots and Nirvana.
CD with a single disc, in English. Produced by Tom Morris.
For listeners of 90s alternative rock and fans of grunge and pop rock from that decade.
