«Ben Webster & Associates» is the jazz album by tenor saxophonist Ben Webster, released in 2000 by Verve Records on CD.
Recorded in New York in April 1959, the album brings together Ben Webster with tenor saxophonists Coleman Hawkins and Budd Johnson and trumpeter Roy Eldridge in five long takes of classic swing. Highlights include the extended «In a Mellow Tone», «De-Dar» and «Young Bean», with Jimmy Jones, Les Spann, Ray Brown and Jo Jones.
CD reissue in the Verve Master Edition series, with restoration and digital transfer at 96 kHz and 24 bits. The original recordings were produced by Norman Granz.
