Bobo! Do That Thing | Guajira

Synopsis of Bobo! Do That Thing | Guajira

«Bobo! Do That Thing | Guajira» is Willie Bobo's Latin jazz album, released in 2003 by Vampi Soul on CD.

Willie Bobo fuses jazz with Latin rhythmic tradition: Afro-Cuban jazz, soul-jazz and boogaloo come together in a percussion-driven repertoire. The album title, joining «Do That Thing» and «Guajira», points to that crossover between groove and Caribbean roots.

This 2003 CD reissue, a single unit, was released in Spain by Vampi Soul alongside Sonido Inc.

For listeners of Latin jazz, Afro-Cuban jazz and boogaloo, and for those seeking the fusion of percussion and soul-jazz.
