«Cage Tropical» is the album by Frankie Rose, released in 2017 on Slumberland Records, on CD.
Fourth album by Frankie Rose, born from her move to Los Angeles and a period of hardship, and completed in Brooklyn with limited means and several collaborators. It blends vintage synthesizers, reverb-drenched vocals and a new wave atmosphere, with echoes of 1980s science fiction. It opens with «Love in Rockets».
Jorge Elbrecht contributed to the album's initial sketch. The edition consists of one disc and the songs are in English.
For listeners of indie rock and post-rock interested in new wave atmospheres and vintage synthesizers.
