«Canções de Tom Jobim» is the album by Vânia Bastos and Cordas, released by Mis on CD.
The record brings together compositions by Tom Jobim in versions for voice and strings: Vânia Bastos sings and Francis Hime handles the arrangements and direction. The repertoire, close to bossa nova and Brazilian popular music, offers a sober and elegant reading of some of the composer's great classics.
Audio CD with one disc, released by Mis.
For lovers of bossa nova and Brazilian folk music, and for those seeking versions with string arrangements.
