«Close Up» is the album by The Outsiders, originally released in 1978 and reissued on CD by Cherry Red in 2012.
Debut album by British band The Outsiders, led by Adrian Borland, within the British punk of the late seventies. The record's raw energy and introspective lyrics anticipate the post-punk sensibility Borland would later develop with The Sound. Notable tracks include 'Vital Hours' and 'Observations'.
This reissue consists of a single disc and carries catalogue reference CDMRED 516, with an edition for the British market.
A record for collectors of seventies British punk and for followers of Adrian Borland and his later project The Sound.
