«Concertos Pour Orgue & Orchestre» is the album by Michel Corrette with René Saorgin, the Ensemble Baroque de Nice and Gilbert Bezzina, on CD (Harmonia Mundi, 1985).
The recording brings together the concertos for organ and orchestra, op. 26, by the French composer Michel Corrette (1709-1795), in the restoration by René Saorgin. These are late Baroque works, written for solo organ and orchestra, in which one perceives the French taste for clarity and the dialogue between the instrument and the ensemble.
The edition bears the catalog number HMA 2905148 and belongs to the Musique d'abord collection of Harmonia Mundi France.
For listeners interested in the French Baroque repertoire and in historically informed performances with organ.
