«Concierto de Timple» is the folk music album by Benito Cabrera, released in 1996 by CCPC, on CD.
The album features twelve pieces from the popular Canarian repertoire performed on the timple, including 'El Canario', 'Folias' and 'Isa'. It alternates traditional styles, such as folías and isa, with waltzes and polkas, and presents a chamber sound in which the instrument is accompanied by guitars, violin, cello and bass.
The musicians involved are Juan Manuel González, Francisco Rodríguez, Eva Bayo, Juan Cantero, Silvestre Álvarez, Carlos Mas and Belén Guerra.
