«Die fabelhafte Miss Braitwhistle» is the children's audiobook by Sabine Ludwig, narrated by Jens Wawrczeck, published by Oetinger Audio in 2012 on 2 CDs.
Class 4a is known throughout the school for being unruly; their teacher, Mrs. Taube, is on the verge of a breakdown. The arrival of Miss Braitwhistle, a substitute teacher from England, changes everything: with extravagant methods she turns punishments into flying lessons, makes a horse appear at teatime and it snows in midsummer. A story told with great humor and wordplay, in the style of Mary Poppins.
First installment of the Miss Braitwhistle series. German edition, authorized reading of about 145 minutes; recommended for ages 8 and up.
For young listeners and adults who want to laugh with a class as chaotic as it is endearing.
