«Die kleine Hexe» is the radio play by Otfried Preußler, published in 2009 by Der Audio Verlag, on 2 CDs.
A young witch, still an apprentice, wants to make her place among the older witches and prove she is up to the task. This audio adaptation recreates her adventures, with broomstick flights and magic, keeping the tone of the classic of German children's literature.
Recorded in German, it features the voices of Laura Maire, Jens Wawrczeck, Regina Lemnitz and Andreas Pietschmann; radio production by WDR.
Aimed at children and young people, it is also useful for German learners who want to hear this children's classic in the original version.
