«Ella & Louis» is the jazz album by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong, released by Masterworks on CD.
A vocal jazz duo recorded in the studio: Ella Fitzgerald displays her elegant phrasing and Louis Armstrong responds with his voice and trumpet. The repertoire includes jazz and swing standards, with ballads and mid-tempos in which both exchange phrases. It sounds intimate and spontaneous, with great rapport between the two.
This CD edition, remastered in stereo and presented in a digi-sleeve, includes 5 bonus tracks.
For fans of vocal jazz and 1950s swing who value classic remastered recordings.
