«Fuchs: Piano Concerto, Op. 27 / Kiel: Piano Concerto, Op. 30» is the album by Martin Roscoe, released in 2003 by Hyperion, on CD.
The disc brings together two piano concertos in B-flat: Op. 27 by Robert Fuchs and Op. 30 by Friedrich Kiel. Martin Roscoe performs the solo part with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and conductor Martyn Brabbins, in a recording that revives little-known late-Romantic works of marked lyricism and rich orchestration.
Volume 31 of The Romantic Piano Concerto series, catalogue number CDA67354, DDD recording.
For classical music enthusiasts, especially those seeking rarely recorded Romantic piano concertos.
