«Gregorian Chant» is an album of Gregorian chant released in 2001 by Deutsche Grammophon as a double CD.
The double CD brings together Gregorian chants for the dedication of a church, the Epiphany and the Christmas Mass. These are vocal performances of monastic origin, sober and contemplative in character, evoking the Benedictine tradition.
The edition belongs to Deutsche Grammophon's Panorama series and contains two CDs, within the label's sacred music catalogue.
Aimed at fans of classical music and traditional liturgical chant, as well as those who value the monastic tradition in music.
