«Grotesque (After the Gramme)» is the CD reissue of the album by The Fall, released in 2001 by Sanctuary 2.
The music of The Fall's album is defined by the band's post-punk and alternative rock style: a raw sound, with harsh textures and an unconventional approach. The cover reproduces a surrealist illustration with deformed figures and flat colors, in line with the disconcerting tone that characterizes the work.
The original album was released in 1980; the British reissue carries the catalog number ESMCD 640.
For fans of The Fall and enthusiasts of British post-punk looking for a reissue of the group's early albums.
