«Kid A» is the album by British rock band Radiohead, released in 2000 by Parlophone, on CD.
The album marks a shift towards electronic, krautrock, jazz and ambient, with abstract lyrics and sonic textures far from conventional rock. It includes tracks such as 'Everything in Its Right Place', 'The National Anthem' and 'Idioteque'. Radiohead promoted it without commercial singles, through animated clips and live performances.
Kid A was released on October 3, 2000 as Radiohead's fourth studio album; the edition includes ten tracks. Kid A received a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album.
Recommended for listeners of alternative rock and experimental electronic music, and for those wanting to discover Radiohead's shift after 'OK Computer'.
